Turnover cleaning starts with a unit that's just been emptied — which means dust under furniture, grime behind appliances, sticky spots in corners, and the accumulated wear of months or years of occupancy. The goal isn't "tidy" — it's "this unit could be photographed for a listing."

How turnover cleaning fits the full process

Turnover cleaning is the base layer of any rental turnover. It happens on day 1-2 of the window, before paint touch-ups (so painters work on clean walls) and before carpet cleaning (so dust isn't kicked back into freshly cleaned fibers).

If you need cleaning plus the other turnover work, our Standard tier bundles everything for less than the parts cost individually. If you only need cleaning, we'll quote it standalone.

Is turnover cleaning the same as move-out cleaning?+
Functionally yes. Both refer to deep cleaning a unit after a tenant has moved out, before the next one moves in. Some property managers call it 'make-ready cleaning' — same thing.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?+
No — we bring everything. We use commercial-grade products and equipment. If you have specific preferences (eco-friendly, fragrance-free, specific brand), tell us during the quote and we'll accommodate.
Can you handle units with hoarding or extreme uncleanliness?+
Sometimes, with a separate quote. Extreme situations (hoarding, pest infestation, biohazard cleanup) require specialized treatment and we may refer you to a remediation company that handles those situations specifically. Then we come in afterward for the standard turnover clean.
How is your pricing different from a regular cleaning service?+
Turnover cleaning is more thorough than regular maintenance cleaning — every appliance interior, behind every fixture, every baseboard, every window track. That's why it costs more per visit than a recurring weekly clean. But it's also one-time per turnover, not weekly.
